WORSHIPPING THE DIVINE MOTHER

Diwali (Festival of Lights) is a time when we invite Maha-Lakshmi to come into our hearts and homes. We pray to Her to help cleanse our minds of judgement and to show us the way to surrender to the Feet of the Master. Take part in this beautiful autumn ritual, three nights of prayers dedicated to Maha-Lakshmi, the bestower of all spiritual and material wealth.

Did you know?

With Her blessings, the light of Love in our hearts can be awakened so that it shines brighter in the world. It is a wonderful time to do a deep cleaning of your house to get ready to receive Maha-Lakshmi into your home. Many decorate their entrance with lanterns, small footprints and rangoli (colourful designs made with rice) as an invitation to the Divine Mother to come in and bestow Her material and spiritual boons.

What to Expect

Our normal evening prayers will be extended to include a special Lakshmi Puja every night, as well as additional kirtan and lots of singing and dancing.
