HONOURING THE COSMIC MOTHER

Gayatri-devi is a five-headed goddess who sees everything in all directions at once. She is the universal cosmic aspect of the Divine Mother, Mother of the Vedas, the five elements and all of creation. Performing yajna is an act of worship that is done as a selfless sacrifice for noble purposes. During the yajna we offer our prayers of love and gratitude to Gayatri-devi for all She does for us.

Did you Know?

Gayatri-devi is the personification of the 24-syllable Gayatri Mantra which is repeated throughout the 24-hour yajna. Her Gayatri Mantra is a ‘moksha mantra‘ which means chanting it with devotion can lead one to liberation.

MEANING: ‘Oh Divine Mother, I meditate on Thee as the Supreme Light that illumines the earth, the sky and the heavens, the adorable Sun of Divine Consciousness that illumines the devas and dissipates all darkness and ignorance. Through Thy Grace, may You enlighten my intellect and awaken the same brilliant Divine Light in me.’

ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE

The package includes an In-Person Darshan with Parmahamsa Vishwananda and a 24-hour Gayatri Yajna. During the yajna, participants stay up all night chanting 10,000 repetitions of the Gayatri mantra while making continuous offerings into the fire. The event ends the next morning with an abhishekam and arati to Gayatri-devi, and prasad.

  • 3 September – 5 September: 2-Night-Stay in a shared room 2, 3, or 4 beds)
  • Meal Package: Dinner on arrival day, three meals daily, lunch on departure day
  • 3 September: In-person Darshan with Paramahamsa Vishwananda (You may ONLY attend one (1) In-person Darshan in August/September 2021!)
  • 4-5 September: 24h Gayatri Yajna

PLACE

Bhakti Marga has its headquarters at Shree Peetha Nilaya, meaning ‘Abode of the Maha Lakshmi’, the Divine Mother. It is located in the beautiful German countryside near Wiesbaden.

CANCELLATIONS

Due to space limitations people are often turned away from events, especially those with Paramahamsa Vishwananda. So, if you are unable to attend your reserved event, please be respectful and cancel your reservation as soon as possible to make space for another.

Although there is no financial penalty for not showing up, or for cancelling a free or donation-only event, failure to cancel your reservation could affect your ability to book future events.
