ZOOM: PAINTING MEDITATION – NARASIMHA

May 25, 2021 · 10:00 - 13:00 CEST

DESCRIPTION

FOCUS ON THE DIVINE

CALM THE MIND AND

ELEVATE THE SOUL

Meditation is a supreme state of focus that engages our whole being. By allowing ourselves to get totally absorbed with drawing or colouring a Divine Form, our senses are captivated and shift away from the material reality to focus on the Divine.

When the Divine Form is subject of our art, the Lord holds our attention and draws us closer to Him. This connection deepens when we work on a place over time or work with the same Form over and over again. It also becomes easier to visualise the Divine Form during mediation, the more we engage with the image as we colour and paint.

PAINTING IS MEDITATION – Paramahamsa Vishwananda

A selection of motifs will be provided for colouring. In addition, this workshop offers an introduction to several art techniques with a variety of materials like coloured pencils, pastels, watercolours and acrylics to discover your own creative expressions.

Our 3-hour workshops are introductional classes where you can experience meditative painting in silence. Artistic experience is not necessary.

This workshop will be held in English.
