RITUALS: SIMPLE PUJA
Practising puja provides the unique opportunity to express your love and longing for the Divine in a very practical, tangible, and deeply profound way. This Zoom course will teach you the basics to start building your personal relationship with your chosen deity through the beautiful ritual of puja.
In this Zoom course you will:
- Discover the origin, purpose and benefits of puja.
- Go through the ritual step-by-step and learn the requirements needed to properly serve your deity.
- Get a brief and simple introduction into Sanskrit.
- Practice the puja mantras together.

Ultimately the purpose of our human existence is to rediscover our eternal loving relationship with the Divine. In order to do that, we need to purify our minds, detach from all material influences and desires, and to fully surrender to the Lord with our whole being. One of the best ways to move toward surrender is by doing Puja – devotional service and worship.
REQUIREMENTS
To participate in this course, you will need:
- A complete puja plate
- A murti or picture of your chosen deity.
- To install Zoom on your mobile devise and to set up a free Zoom account.

In order to take part in this program, you must download and install the Zoom App on your computer or mobile device and set up a Zoom account. When the time comes for the class, you will need to log into your Zoom account from your device and then click on ‘Join a Meeting’ using the details provided in your reminder email.
This course will be taught in English, translations are not available.
