Maha-Lakshmi is a form of the Divine Mother and the wife of Sriman Narayana. She provides for Her children both materially and spiritually. She is the Mother of All, caring for each and everything in creation. She is often shown sitting at the Feet of the Lord, sitting on His lap, or as in this murti set, standing beside Him. She is an example of perfect service to God and of unconditional Love to all creation.

The Supreme Lord, Sriman Narayana, is the source, creator, sustainer and destroyer of all universes. Every time He incarnates on earth is for the welfare and protection of Mother Earth and the restoration of dharma.
