Description
This murti features the Supreme Lord as Lord Vitthala (also known as Panduranga), with His consort Rukmini Devi standing in front of an arch with a hooded snake carving. This is the pose traditionally associated with Vitthala, as He waits for His devotee, Pundalik, to finish his devotional service to his parents before meeting the Lord Himself.
‘Panduranga is the lord of eternal joy and happiness.’
