Tulsi necklaces (known as Kanthi Mala) are made from pure, beautiful and natural Tulsi wood. A Kanthi Mala is worn for ultimate protection and is a classic symbol of being a Vaishnava devotee of the Lord, so that’s why you’ll see devotees of Lord Krishna or Lord Vishnu wearing Tulsi in some form. (And of course, it’s perfect for using in devotee initiations for Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda.)

Please Note: Tulsi, the Divine Mother, loves all Her children and so Tulsi necklaces or malas should only be worn by strict vegetarians.
